Belligerent idiots need not apply

I have been working in IT for about 15 years.  I have been working with computers for about 19 years.  I have worked for several start-ups that started up... and then failed. Another start-up that did succeed (eHealthInsurance) and am currently employeed by another start-up in Santa Clara.

In my 15 years, I have had the unfortunate task of working for some very angry people who want nothing more to do than create waves and not work towards the greater good of a company.  I am tempering my posting because I enjoy being employed and I think the company has potential, but some of the people at the company don't.  There is nothing more that I would love than to write my post in a Wil Wheaton fashion (no holds barred type posting).

Anyway - it doesn't help the company or move the company forward in anyway by writing an unproductive e-mail that drips with passion. It doesn't make good business sense and being that I am a professional and Manager of I.T. at this company, I choose not to engage in an egotistical tug-of-war through e-mail.

There - I have had my say...
