I.T. Nomadic Adventures

Well - I lasted 5 months at my current job working as the I.T. Manager for Proteus Biomedical in Redwood City, CA.  Why the change?  The commute demanded too much of my personal time and in order to bypass most of the commute, I ended up downshifting my hours starting at 7 AM and going until around 3:30/4:00 PM and then huffing it home.  A standard work day (including driving) became this 11 hour monster.  I am used to 8-9 hours.  By changing jobs, for more money no less, allows me to return to my normal working schedule, return to an environment I am fairly knowledgeable in and be able to work with some people I have worked with in the past.

Where am I going?  Virtual Instruments.  Check them out!

More to follow!
