Ecto Blog Client

I am trying out a new BLOG client for the Macintosh Operating System - called ECTO (or called ecto - case sensitive).

So far it looks to be a good client - easy to use and has a lot of funky add on utilities that would make using this MAC very nice and easy!

I will let you know how it goes!

Updated the blog HTML

OK - I finally updated the HTML code under the blog engine so it has the same look and feel as the rest of the site.

There may be some 'errors' around still but please - let me know if you encounter something.

I did forget to mention that the engine I moved to is WORDPRESS. I was using Movable Type, but when confronted with the re-installation of the software, I found that MT had a lot of backlash in the user community because of their 'pricing structure' and any support policy they might have had.

I also found that MT was very difficult to use, while, so far, I am very enthused about how WP operates and how easy it seems to be, especially with the BLOG WRITER utility from ZOUNDRY.

It is Memorial day today and it is pretty reserved. I am tired, had a bad night of sleep - but on the flip side, I did get to see on VH1 CLASSIC the HEAVY:the story of metal music - which is a great documentary on the history of Metal Rock from the hair bands of the 80's to the more progressive Marilyn Manson of the late 90's and 2K era.

Anyway - there you go.

Have a happy Memorial Day!

First New Blog

Welcome all to my new blog site - I decided to take my blog back in house from the ever popular BLOGGER.COM and plae my own little blogging engine on my site.

I was going to use Movable Type but then I started reading about their changed support policy and pricing scheme. I laughed and said there had to be something better than this out there.

I have changed the name of the site from MACGOD.NET to IPODGOD.NET - I like the Mac but found that I am totally more productive on my Windows XP based laptop/system. I cannot escape the inevitable that I love my PC - but I also love my Macintosh systems too. I just don't use them as much any longer. I do love the iPod so much that I have decided to take a new moniker - iPodGod.

My car has MAC GOD as license plates but the new ones IPOD GOD is on order. I registered a new domain name, iPodGod.NET and will be switching all my mail over shortly to use that site for e-mail and web hosting for my house.

I only own 4 iPods - soon to be 5.

  • 512 MB Shuffle

  • 1 GB Shuffle

  • 40 GB iPod Photo

  • 60 GB iPod Video

  • and 4 GB iPod NANO (soon to be partnered with a new pair of Nike Running Shoes!)

That about does it - peace out!
